Returns & Right of Withdrawal
At Takumi Fishing, we believe it's important that you know what to expect in advance. Below, we clearly
explain how the right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) works, how you can register a return, and
what conditions apply. This information is deliberately provided outside of the general terms and
conditions and is legally required.

Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-off Period)
You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after the day of receipt without stating a reason.
After cancellation, you then have another 14 days to return the product.
After a correct return notification, you will receive the full order amount, including standard shipping
costs, back. The costs for returning the product from your address to our webshop are for your own
account.

Registering a Return
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you can contact us within the cooling-off period via:

After your return notification, you will receive further instructions for returning the product.
We will refund the due order amount within 14 days of your return notification, provided that the
product has been received by us in good condition.

Conditions for Returns
You may inspect the product as you would in a physical store. Protective films and stickers are intended
for protection during transport and storage. Removing them, or using the product beyond what is
necessary for inspection, may lead to a reduction in value upon return.
Additionally, the following conditions apply: - The product must have been handled carefully. - The
product must, if reasonably possible, be returned in its original condition and packaging. - All
accompanying accessories must be included.
If the product is damaged, or the packaging is more damaged than necessary to inspect the product, we
may charge you for the resulting depreciation in value. Therefore, handle the product with care and
ensure proper packaging when returning it.

Specially Ordered and Imported Products
Takumi Fishing specializes in high-quality Japanese rods and fishing equipment. Some products are
specially imported to order and have a longer delivery time.
This does not affect your legal right of withdrawal. Specially ordered and imported products can also
be returned within the statutory cooling-off period, provided that the conditions described above are
met.

Exchanging a Product
Would you like to exchange a product? That is possible. Please contact us via:

The costs for returning the product will in that case be for your own account.

Incorrect Delivery Address Provided
Did you accidentally provide an incorrect delivery address? Please contact us as soon as possible. We
will try to change the order for you as long as it has not yet been shipped.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
For the current assortment of Takumi Fishing, no additional exceptions to the right of withdrawal apply
other than the legal exceptions as laid down in Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code.
If in the future products are offered for which the right of withdrawal does not apply (for example,
custom-made products or sealed hygienic products), this will be clearly stated before purchase.
