What makes the NEOS-77ML-S excel?

The NEOS-77ML-S is designed for finesse fishing in waters where control and bite detection are more important than casting weight. In harbours, river lakes, urban waters, canals and waterways with limited current, the rod offers maximum feedback and precision.

When finesse jigging, Carolina rigs, dropshotting and fishing with small soft baits and creature baits, the lure presentation remains pure and controlled, even with hesitant bites.

Sweet spot & ideal use

Sweet spot: approx. 5–12 g  

Within this range, the NEOS-77ML-S offers maximum control, direct bite detection and pure lure presentation. Below approximately 5 g, feedback decreases; above about 14 g, the action becomes less refined.

Action & feel: What do you notice while fishing?

The solid tip (S) ensures direct contact with the lure, accurate bite detection with light bites, and a controlled presentation when fishing slowly. This allows you to maintain control and timing, even with hesitant bites.

Control under load

Under pressure, the rod bends nicely towards the middle, preventing hook pulls, ensuring light hooks stay better set, and allowing larger perch to be landed safely. Even under load, the blank remains controlled, allowing you to apply targeted pressure without losing feel.
