The Great Hunting Huntsman GHBF511-4L is a compact 4-piece bait finesse travel rod, developed for light and precise fishing with small lures. Its distinctive pistol grip ensures maximum control and a very direct transmission of movement and bites.

Originally designed for Japanese mountain and stream fishing, it is also excellently applicable in European finesse predator fishing. The fast, direct action with a sensitive tip section allows for controlled casting and safe fighting of fish within the light class. Within this range, the GHBF511-4L offers controlled casts, direct lure contact, and clear bite registration. Below this range, casting becomes more difficult; above approximately 8 g, the blank becomes overloaded.

Action & feel: What do you notice while fishing?

The pistol grip makes the rod feel literally like an extension of your hand. Small wrist movements are directly transmitted to the lure, making short, controlled casts and subtle animations effortless.
